Head of Products, Technical Innovation & Carbon Capture, Ammongas – a part of [xxxxx]

Then you might be our new Head of Products, Technical Innovation & Carbon Capture at Ammongas, a strategic pillar in [xxxxx]’s business portfolio.

Ammongas tailors solutions to our customers who wish to produce green biofuel and green CO2. We have entered new markets as many countries are looking for Danish solutions to help them on their way to a green energy transition, driven by national and international project developers ranging from farmers to large energy groups.

Your new role

You can look forward to contributing mainly with:

  • Maintaining a technical overview of the Ammongas product portfolio and provide technical feedback on design decisions with the R&D Manager and technical stakeholders
  • Providing and maintaining design and technical overview and feedback on new products and innovations with R&D Manager and technical stakeholders
  • Being an integral part of the technical committee, assessing and recommending key technical decisions to management
  • Conceptualizing in both detailed and basic engineering, as well as Pre-FEED and FEED for carbon capture and liquefaction plants
  • Technical support to the procurement team, sales team and project team
  • Business development and strategic partnerships mainly in the Carbon Capture and LCO2 space.

Some travelling is to be expected.

Job prerequisites

  • An engineering background, ideally as a Chemical or Process Engineer, combined with understanding of commercial and business development aspects
  • Solid (7 years+) experience in technical design of LCO2 and biogas upgrading plants. Understanding of bio-LNG plants is an advantage
  • Experience in technical sales and experience from the carbon capture market is a big plus
  • You are a skilled IT user, 3D drawing skills is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, Danish is an advantage.

About Ammongas A/S

Ammongas is a Danish producer of environmental facilities, established in 2002 with more than 40 plants in Northern Europe and four in the US, with two more underway in 2024. The plants are designed and built by our dedicated engineers focusing on sustainability, economy, efficiency, and operational reliability in biogas upgrading, biomethane polishing for CH4 liquefaction, CO2 liquefaction, and carbon capture.

Ammongas was acquired by [xxxxx] in 2022 with the purpose of facilitating new possibilities in the development of biogas upgrading and carbon capture in Denmark and abroad.
