At [xxxxx], we are on an exciting journey of expanding our brand and presence in South Germany and Austria. To drive this growth, we are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Retail Country Manager to lead our stores and teams to new heights.

Location: Wherever you are, as long as there’s an airport nearby. Preferably in Germany. And as long as you don’t mind traveling 3-4 days a week.

Your mission:

• Manage and develop 8-14 [xxxxx] stores, making them shine like they belong on the cover of our latest lookbook.
• Travel across your region like a retail rockstar.
• Lead, coach, and inspire Store Managers, ensuring a high-performing team culture.
• Recruit, onboard and train managers who embody [xxxxx]’s values and DNA.
• Deliver and execute ambitious sales and operational goals and celebrate when you crush them

Your tasks:

• Develop plans, set goals, and track results, so you always stay ahead of the game.
• Deliver and execute ambitious sales and operational goals and celebrate when you crush them.
• Optimize stock, cash flow and efficiency with a structured and analytical approach.

Must-Have superpowers:

• Outstanding leadership and communication skills (reading minds is optional, but always a plus)
• A sharp eye for detail, ensuring every store looks like it belongs in a [xxxxx] lookbook.
• Confidence in IT systems – or at least the ability to make it look that way.

What do we need from you:

• At least 5 years of work experience in retail management.
• Very good English and native-level German language skills.
• Extensive experience in leadership and people management.
• A deep knowledge and insight into the market and competitors in the furniture industry.
• Strong natural desire for improving solutions across people, processes, and systems.
• The ability to communicate effectively on all levels, influence, manage stakeholders, and drive inter-collaboration.
• A genuine interest in design and home furnishing, you live and breathe beautiful interiors.
