About the Role

As Senior Director, Tech Strategy & Enterprise Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in [xxxxx]’s Digital & Technology organisation, leading our enterprise architecture and technology strategy on a global scale.

You will be responsible for defining the target reference architecture & tech strategy for [xxxxx], along with driving adoption across domains, and ensuring our digital capabilities meet business needs with operational effectiveness and simplification. Leading a team of senior competence profiles like enterprise architects, tech strategists and domain architects, you will shape how [xxxxx] leverages technology to deliver growth, innovation, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architecture

  • Lead a global team of enterprise architects and tech strategists (11 to 13 FTEs) across Copenhagen and Thailand, with additional matrix responsibility for domain architects worldwide.



  • Craft and own [xxxxx]’s technology strategy and target reference architecture, ensuring adoption across all business domains.



  • Align enterprise, data, and security strategies into a coherent framework that drives value and simplification.



  • Drive governance forums and decision-making processes to enable transparent, aligned technical execution.



  • Define architecture principles, standards, and frameworks, including build vs. buy models.



Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as a key member of the CTO leadership team, influencing senior business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Corporate tech and Omni-channel.



  • Partner with global business leaders to ensure technology architecture supports strategic priorities.



  • Manage supplier and technology vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with [xxxxx]’s roadmap.



  • Evaluate emerging technology trends (AI, data mesh, SAP, Salesforce, Kafka, etc.) and translate them into actionable opportunities for [xxxxx].



Financial & Stakeholder Accountability

  • Manage budgets of 15–20 MDKK across OPEX and CAPEX.



  • Drive adoption and alignment with stakeholders across the full value chain.



What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a strategic, inspirational, and hands-on leader with the ability to define vision, secure stakeholder buy-in, and drive results at scale. You must combine deep architectural expertise with strong communication skills to ensure business leaders understand, adopt, and benefit from the technology strategy you set.

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise/technology architecture and strategy leadership in complex, global organisations.



  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Technology, or equivalent experience.



  • Proven ability to lead architects and senior technology professionals in a global matrix structure.



  • Expertise in enterprise, business, application, and technology architecture.



  • Strong knowledge of emerging technology trends, AI, SAP, Salesforce, Kong, Kafka, and data mesh architectures.



  • A T-shaped leader: strategic thinker who can also execute and deliver operationally.



  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – able to bridge the gap between technology and business.



  • Fluent in English; occasional travel required.
