Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and customer satisfaction? Maersk is looking for an experienced General Manager to take full responsibility for our site operations, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement

About the Role

As the General Manager you will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring operational service and financial performance is delivered to exceed customer expectations. You’ll be the key point of contact building strong relationships with our customer and delivering exceptional service to support long term partnerships. This is a pivotal role where leadership, compliance, and innovation come together.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the entire site operation, ensuring adherence to company policies and health & safety standards.
  • Build and motivate an on site team of engaged and high performing colleagues and leaders fostering a growth mindset
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring quality and performance targets and KPI’s are consistently achieved.
  • Drive financial performance through effective budget setting, cost control and P&L management.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO standards and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Implement succession planning and talent development strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in operational management within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex compliance requirements and drive efficiency within a matrix environment
  • Proven experience managing teams of people to deliver exceptional customer experience through a highly engaged workforce
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse and Transport Management systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and financial acumen.
