At [xxxxx]/CREA[xxxxx], we are looking for a strong commercial profile to lead the development of our Embedded & Digital Solutions business unit. As Commercial Lead / Head of Business Development, you will take ownership of defining and executing the commercial strategy from our headquarters in Stilling near Aarhus, working with clients across Denmark and globally.

This is not a traditional sales role. You will have direct influence on the direction of the business and play a key role in both setting the strategy and driving execution.

The role

In this role, you will define where and how we win in the market by identifying key segments, customers and value propositions, and turning this into tangible business results.

You will position us within areas such as smart device development and digital transformation, translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value. At the same time, you will engage directly with customers at senior and C level and build strong, long term relationships.

From the beginning, you are expected to create clarity on direction, establish key relationships and build a strong commercial pipeline.

A player coach role

You will start in a player coach role, combining hands on business development with building the commercial setup.

You will

  • Drive sales activities and open key accounts
  • Build structure, pipeline and commercial processes
  • Create momentum in strategic sales dialogues

Over time, you will lay the foundation for a scalable sales organization and transition into a leadership role with responsibility for building and leading your own team.

Key responsibilities

Your focus will be to drive both strategy and execution across the business unit. This includes

  • Defining and driving the go to market approach
  • Building and developing a strong pipeline
  • Strengthening our market position and value proposition
  • Developing relationships with key clients
  • Ensuring structure and progress in pipeline and CRM
  • Collaborating closely with leadership to align direction and execution

Your profile

You combine strategic thinking with a strong drive to execute and create results.

You likely bring

  • Experience within business development and go to market strategy
  • A proven ability to drive growth and develop new opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including C level engagement
  • The ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • A structured and persistent approach to pipeline and sales

Experience with technical or consulting based services is important. Knowledge of embedded systems, IoT or digital solutions is an advantage, but not a requirement.
