As of 2023, 's Hearing Care business operates a global network of more than 3,500 clinics across over 28 countries. Additionally, in August 2023, 's Danish hearing care entity, Audika, expanded its footprint by acquiring Dansk HøreCenter, effectively doubling its number of fully owned shops in Denmark.
You will join a department of people who are working to roll out the newest platforms in a transformation of all systems, data platform included, across multiple cloud providers, for 12,000+ employees.
As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support teams around the world in getting the most out of our data to make insightful and data-driven decisions.
Data Intelligence is an established, multicultural team with members in multiple countries and we work alongside analysts and managers from almost every functional domain in the retail business.
Using the latest tools in Google Cloud and Azure, and working within an agile operating model, your key responsibilities will include:
Due to the global nature of the work, you should expect to have between 10-15 days of annual travel.
We are looking for someone who is skilled in communication and able to work with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels. The ability to problem-solve with a self-organized approach but also work within a team that spans multiple cultures is also extremely important to us. Openness to gain new skills and developing is a cornerstone of the team, and we believe that will continue to be the case as we work towards meeting the ever-evolving needs of a growing retail business in a digital world.

Data Intelligence in Hearing Care IT
Data Intelligence is an established, multicultural team with members in multiple countries and we work alongside analysts and managers from almost every functional domain in the retail business.
Using the latest tools in Google Cloud and Azure, and working within an agile operating model, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional requirements
- Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including:
- Re-designing data infrastructure for greater scalability
- Optimizing data delivery
- Automating manual processes
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using API, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and on-prem SQL technologies
- Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
- Working with stakeholders including the Data, Design, Product and Executive teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues

Furthermore, we hope you possess the following skills and competencies:
- Hold a bachelor´s or master’s degree maybe in IT
- Have some years of experience working with data platforms and data modelling
- Have experience from working in the cloud (Google Cloud is ideal, but by no means required)
- Are skilled with using SQL and Python to manipulate data
- Are, as a bonus, familiar with SQLX, Terraform, YAML, LookML and/or HTML
