About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Site Lead and Vice President to lead and oversee our Danish Operations and Production organization. This senior leadership role carries responsibility for approximately 90 employees and 6 direct reporting leaders across Production, Technical Department, Supply Chain, and QC.

The role is pivotal in driving strategic development, ensuring efficient and compliant production, and securing delivery of high-quality products to our customers. In this role, you will play a central part in developing our operations into a world-class organization while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships both locally and within the global group. The role reports directly to the Global SVP of Operations & Production.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall leadership responsibility across operations, production, quality and regulatory compliance, facility management, supply chain, and site leadership—providing strategic direction, coordination, and alignment while dedicated managers oversee the individual areas.
• Develop and implement strategies that balance operational excellence with strategic growth.
• Safeguard compliance with regulatory requirements (IVDR, MDR, QMS, ISO standards) and secure quality across all operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence programs, and cost competitiveness.
• Lead stakeholder management, e.g. within the SSID group, to enable tough priorities in a global matrix.
• Ensure site safety, health, and environmental policies are implemented and continuously improved.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team with strong focus on talent development and succession planning.
• Demonstrate change leadership and oversee large-scale projects, including critical IT implementations.
• Represent the Danish Operations & Production organization in global leadership forums.

Your Profile

• University degree with supplementary leadership or executive training is preferred
• 15+ years of industry experience, including at least 10 years in senior operations or production leadership roles within diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medical products, or other related life science sectors
• Proven track record in leading leaders, managing large-scale operations, and delivering results in a global organization.
• Strong ability to operate at both strategic and high abstraction levels while understanding complex production environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to lead in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and drive tough priorities to completion.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and implementing major transformation projects.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and financial management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additionally, it will be a significant advantage if you speak and write Danish.
