Therefore, we are looking for an ATE Electrical Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role in our team
As an ATE Electrical engineer at [xxxxx], you will be assigned projects for new products and will be responsible for delivering a complete automated test for our production. The ATE department at [xxxxx] consists of 5 dedicated Engineers working as a close team. The ATE work requires a certain degree of documentation, and we do internal/peer reviews on all documents before release.
Working with Automated Test Equipment, ATE, is a complete delivery, from a test specification to handing a full set of test equipment over to production, and supporting it going forward.
As our new colleague we are looking for a profile who is strong in both Hardware and Software. All Test Hardware design is made in-house in [xxxxx], and we use external suppliers for mechanical production and wiring. In addition, we program all test sequences in LabView using TestStand.

ATE project:
A typical ATE project consists of translating the test specification for the product/unit into test cases, considering TUR and selecting the best suited instruments for each test. From there the test adapter schematic is created and the statement of work for the mechanical chassis is sent to the sub-supplier.
Special component/modules are selected and statement of work for wiring/installation is sent to sub-supplier.

We then start the work on the test sequence building it using TestStand components for all instrumentation and special tests/boundary scan/unit SW Load are added.
Once the test adapter is received from sub-suppliers it is fully tested and verified, and we start integration testing, verifying hardware and software functions as expected in regard to each test case.

In the last part of the process, the handover is made to production, and the test is maintained and updated as needed from there.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include knowledge in the following areas:

• NI LabView and TestStand - Knowledge and experience in LabView is a must
• BoundaryScan and JTAG programming
• WATS - Test Data Management
• Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
• Being mindful of stakeholder management across our ATE team, project management and your manager

Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or similar, in test design or a related field of expertise
• Skilled/experienced in test design to a BSc level
• Experience with ATE projects, as well as data management

As a person you are outgoing and easy to talk to – the position requires onsite support in our production as well as stakeholder management. Moreover, you are able to work independently and voice challenges to the rest of the team.
