Sparinvest seeks Senior Risk Officer

We are looking for an analytical and skilled Senior Risk Officer for our Risk Management department, based in either Luxembourg or Denmark.

Sparinvest S.A. is a Super Management Company in Luxembourg with a branch in Denmark. Sparinvest S.A. has Luxembourg and Danish UCITS and AIF under management.

As a Senior Risk Officer, you are responsible for identifying, monitoring and reporting risks within the regulatory set-up surrounding both UCITS and AIF structures as required by regulation.

Your main tasks:

• Manage daily risk processes for investment fund products domiciled in Luxembourg and Denmark, including regular risk reviews.
• Maintain, enhance, and oversee risk systems and models in collaboration with Group entities.
• Improve procedures and instruments for managing operational risks.
• Oversee delegated risk management tasks performed by Group entities in Denmark.
• Regularly engage with various boards and senior management and prepare risk management reports, including submissions to authorities, inclusive of both the Danish Finanstilsynet as well as the CSSF in Luxembourg.
• Contribute to the good performance and consistent development of the Valuation-function, in line with regulatory and corporate developments.
• Work closely with local and cross-border teams in a project-driven environment.
• Based in either Denmark or Luxembourg, with re-gular travel to the other location (approximately every two months).

About you:

• Solid knowledge of the Asset Management industry, including UCITS and AIF structures.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or operational function.
• Proficiency in Power BI and SQL (MS Server) is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English (Danish fluency is a plus).
• Familiarity with European regulations; knowledge of Danish regulations is advantageous but not re-quired.
• Business-focused, structured, and analytical mindset.
• Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Skilled at meeting tight deadlines with a positive attitude.
