Join our Regulatory Interaction team in Group Compliance which plays a pivotal role in managing key regulatory interactions with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (‘Danish FSA’) and other regulatory interactions and engagements across the Group.
You will become part of a friendly and supportive small team interacting closely - internally with other colleagues in Group Compliance and across the entire organisation and organisational levels - and externally with the Regulatory Authorities, primarily the Danish FSA.
Your responsibility as part of the team will be to act as key point of entry for non-recurring interactions with – primarily- the Danish FSA.
For this role you will join us in Saxo’s Headquarters in Hellerup, Copenhagen.

We are looking for a great colleague for our small team who has a high degree of personal integrity, and you must be trustworthy and handle confidential information in a prudent way. Moreover, we are looking for a colleague who can build relationships and collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders on all levels in the organisation.
We are looking for someone with a structural approach with the ability to handle multiple interactions and deadlines in parallel and for a detail-oriented individual who has a strong focus on details when reviewing document and who can ensure accuracy and quality for deliverables. Finally, we also value a colleague who can handle shifting priorities and unforeseen tasks and meetings without losing focus.
We imagine you to have an educational background within a relevant field, for example legal, financial or technical field. Moreover, we are looking for someone who has more than 5 years' experience experience within compliance – this is not limited to the financial sector as we also welcome experience from pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish is required to interact effectively with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
Having experience with Service Now would be a great advantage.

Key responsibilities include
- Providing guidance, expertise and support to colleagues across the Bank in handling Regulatory Interactions
- Planning and supporting thematic- and onsite inspections conducted by primarily the Danish FSA
- Facilitate timely replies of high quality to the regulators on requested topics, including enforcement orders and reprimands
In this role you will amongst others conduct the following tasks:
- Preparation, review and submission of responses to the regulators regarding hearings, enforcements orders, reprimands and recurring and ad-hoc meetings as well as sharing and allocating requests received from Danish regulators with the organisation
- Collaboration across Group Compliance entities with colleagues engaging with their local regulators to support with framework, templates and consistent ways of working
- Internal reporting of status on interactions, regulatory reactions, emerging risks and activities including collection of input from Group Compliance colleagues located in Saxo entities outside HQ to various stakeholders
- Logging and documentation of regulatory interactions
- Establishment,maintenance and continuous improvements of framework and governing documents for the Regulatory Interaction department governing all interactions in scope across all entities
- Being available, approachable and visible to colleagues at HQ premises acting as a liaison for advice and feedback as well as a role model for the Saxo Compliance Culture
- Enhancement and continuous improvements of supporting tools used by Regulatory Interaction Compliance Managers by defining requirements to reporting- and case logging tools
