The position As a Senior Statistical Programmer at Novo Nordisk, you will in a group of colleagues leverage your expertise together participate in driving impactful solutions. With a result-oriented approach, you will break down issues into practical solutions supporting our business. Effective communication skills will be key as you collaborate with and explain technical concepts to peers and actively seek and incorporate feedback. You will be responsible for:

Planning, managing and execution of statistical programming deliverables in clinical trial and non-trial activities in the project

Providing input to authority required documents for the trial and non-trial activities

Ensuring that clinical trial and non-trial tasks are aligned with the project specifications

Continuous development of own skills and to contribute to the development of Biostatistics

Qualifications The core requirements to succeed in this position are:

MSc, PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application).

3+ years of experience with statistical programming and preferably 1+ year within clinical development or biostatistics

Demonstrated ability to drive projects as a proactive team member

You can drive progress autonomously and engage in proactive decision-making

Skilled programmer within R, Python and/or SAS

As a person you have a positive mindset and a passion for fostering constructive innovation

About the department Biostatistics department is a part of Data Science organization and consists of close to 300 statisticians and statistical programmers globally. About 200 is situated in Denmark in Søborg and Aalborg offices. Biostatistics are organised in smaller units within clinical therapeutic areas ensuring close collaboration with our various stakeholders. Primarily we perform our scientific and programming work in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of tasks and challenges and provide a strong scientific community. We have many international employees and, we welcome non-local applicants. We maintain a positive and collaborative atmosphere in our everyday work and ensure a healthy work-life balance.
