About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Development Manager with Product Owner responsibilities to join our team. This role is pivotal in leading our backend software systems development, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
As the Development Manager with Product Owner responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our backend software systems. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards.
You will lead a team of approximately 10 skilled software developers and software architects, guiding them through complex projects and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your role as a Product Owner will involve defining the vision for our backend systems, prioritizing features, and maintaining a clear and actionable product backlog based on our customer projects. You will be the bridge between our technical team and business stakeholders, ensuring that our solutions align with customer needs and business objectives.
In addition to your leadership and product management duties, you will oversee the technical aspects of our backend systems. This includes defining non-functional requirements and ensuring that our solutions are scalable, secure, and robust. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices to enhance our development processes and product offerings.
You will own the backlog and maintenance budgets within the backend team. Your ability to create and maintain roadmaps to build software applications in a platform based on customer requirements will be key to enabling delivery of customer solutions on time and budget. You work closely with project managers to assign resources to their projects and support them with technical questions. You also work on estimating development costs and reuse of platform components.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and solution managers, to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices to enhance our development processes and product offerings.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage team resources, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in backend technologies such as Java, .NET, or Python, and experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud.
- Product Management: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in product ownership or management.
