As Financial Analyst you will have an active role in supporting management decisions and the overall strategy in Maersk with analysis and insights that are enabled by strong knowledge of both finance and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving financial reporting and analysis with focus on time and quality.
- Performance management across Maersk and producing material to senior management and board of directors.
- Owning the forecasting process.
- Credit rating analyses, capital structure, leverage ratios and investment capacity.
- Ad hoc financial analyses that can include anything from determining the cost of capital for investment purposes, option valuation for management incentive schemes to ad hoc strategic projects.
Who are we looking for?
- We are looking for people with a strong analytical mindset that can handle multiple tasks and challenges at hand, while maintaining a good sense of urgency.
- You have 5+ years of work experience within financial planning & analysis, investment analytics, project controlling, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development or equivalent.
- You have a positive attitude and have outspoken collaboration skills and work well with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint is a requirement as you will be leading financial modelling. Experience from working with OneStream and/or business intelligence systems is an advantage.
- You have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
- You are a self-starter, striving for continuous process improvements and hold high attention to the detail.
- Excellent communication skills and mastering the discipline of presenting data in a clear and concise manner is a must.
