Join us as a Workflow Specialist in the LabDroid team. The position As LabDroid Workflow Specialist, you will collaborate closely with drug discovery projects and with specialists across the whole research organisation. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, implementation and coordination of tasks on our new LabDroid automation platform.
  • Defining the scope of automation tasks and identify the activities needed for implementation.
  • Identifying the need for materials and method development to ensure scientific impact.
  • Ensuring timely execution of experiments and reviewing the generated data.
  • . Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • A degree within life sciences, chemical engineering or a related field, preferentially with a PhD
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in drug discovery
  • Sound experience in project management or coordination of diverse research activities across disciplines from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Sound scientific knowledge in relevant fields from the drug discovery process
  • A keen interest in laboratory automation. Hands-on experience is a clear advantage but not a pre-requisite.
  • As a person, you are solution-oriented, flexible and a good team player. You have excellent people and communication skills and can bridge the gap between scientific disciplines. In addition, you are used to the planning and coordination of complex tasks and can take a leading role in cross-functional teams. You take ownership and you are comfortable with problem-solving, troubleshooting and independent decision making About the department In Global Research Technologies we design, produce, and formulate compounds for Novo Nordisk´s research pipeline. In close collaboration with Global Drug Discovery and Digital Science & Innovation we are building a new, innovative laboratory automation platform for generation and characterization of our future drug candidates. You will become part of an engaged team of about ten scientists, laboratory technicians and specialists within automation and IT.
