The role
To expand our team of research audiologists, we are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague for a full-time permanent position. The responsibilities of a Research Audiologist span from recruitment and rehabilitation of our test participants in our hearing clinic, to actively taking part in planning and executing our scientific experiments, involving people with hearing loss. Success in the job requires a detail-oriented approach to your tasks, good collaboration skills, and the desire to use your expertise to make a difference for people with hearing loss.
Rehabilitative tasks:
The daily work and responsibility in the hearing clinic is shared amongst the audiologists and involves:
Research-related tasks:
From our research projects you will gain insights and experience with scientific measurements such as EEG, pupillometry etc. Your main responsibility as a Research Audiologist in our research work is to support our scientists in planning, preparing, and executing experimental work, which involves:
Your background
You hold a master’s degree in audiology /audiologopedics or an equivalent field. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience with both hearing aid fitting and the human aspects of hearing rehabilitation.
You might have gained scientific experience from research-related work. This would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
You are an organized and structured team player, and you welcome and reflect upon other people’s input and ideas. You are proactive and confident in contributing with your own input to improve the quality of the projects you are involved in.
You must be fluent in both English and Danish, both verbally and in writing, since both languages are used at Eriksholm every day.

- Audiometry, hearing aid fitting, counseling, and other related tasks for the hearing clinic
- Recruitment of new test participants for our database
- Development and improvement of clinical procedures
Research-related tasks:
From our research projects you will gain insights and experience with scientific measurements such as EEG, pupillometry etc. Your main responsibility as a Research Audiologist in our research work is to support our scientists in planning, preparing, and executing experimental work, which involves:
- Experiment planning in accordance with ethical considerations
- Preparation of test protocols, written information and execution of experimental work
- Professional sparring and interaction with our scientific staff from various scientific backgrounds
- Conference participation and presentations of research projects and results
Your background
You hold a master’s degree in audiology /audiologopedics or an equivalent field. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience with both hearing aid fitting and the human aspects of hearing rehabilitation.
