About L’Italia Buona

The Role
In a new role as Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the CEO/Founder and take on a central role in shaping L’Italia Buona’s growth journey. The position requires both strategic foresight and operational drive: you will be responsible for strengthening and expanding partner network, consolidating existing relationships, and creating new opportunities that align with growth ambitions. You will be expected to design and implement a structured business development strategy, while also leading negotiations and securing agreements that generate sustainable value. In practice, this means everything from analyzing new market opportunities and identifying distributors, to representing L’Italia Buona at trade fairs and working closely with the CEO and internal teams on commercial execution.
The role is highly collaborative, requiring you to act as a bridge between external partners and internal functions such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development. Success will depend on your ability to balance short-term commercial results with long-term relationship building in a lean organizational environment.
The Profile
We are looking for a commercially driven professional with a strong background in business development, international sales, or partnership management. Ideally, you have at least 7–10 years of relevant experience, and you are motivated by working with premium FMCG, food, or lifestyle brands where authenticity and quality are central. Experience from a distributor environment will be considered an advantage. Strong knowledge and proven track record in driving business in the Danish retail market.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of growing businesses through existing and new partnerships in the Danish retail market.
- Solid experience in complex negotiations, contract management, and deal-making.
- International exposure, including cultural awareness and business etiquette.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- A balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.
