The August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS), located in Barcelona, offers up to 5 PhD fellowships linked to DYNAMIS – the Doctoral programme Yielding Novel Advancements in Medicine and Innovative Solutions, co-funded by the European Union. Applications are open to outstanding candidates of any nationality and scientific background.

In DYNAMIS, you will be co-supervised by a clinician and a translational scientist in the research line you select, allowing you to experience contact with patients and direct your research towards their needs. You can choose three priorities among 27 research lines available in the current call , spanning the different IDIBAPS research areas:

• Liver, digestive system and metabolism
• Respiratory, cardiovascular and renal pathobiology and bioengineering
• Biological aggression and response mechanisms

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Temporary predoctoral contract - 4 YEARS (Expected dates for incorporation are between April and August 2026)
HOURS A DAY: 7,5 (37,5 h/week)

SALARY ANNUAL GROSS OF 30,770.40 EUR (including living and mobility allowances)
