Electronic Hardware Lead, Lystrup

As Hardware Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating technical activities, guiding and mentoring a project hardware development team, and ensuring that solutions are delivered in accordance with requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

Your role in our team
As our new Hardware Lead, you will work closely together with our Systems Engineers, Project Managers, and the Development team. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the team focuses on the right technical tasks and that the deliveries live up to all agreed expectations. You will collaborate regularly with mechanical and software teams.

This is a “hands-on” leadership role where you will provide guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and high performing spirit. You lead “by example” and has the overall technical responsibility of the implementation and final hardware solution where you proactively manage risks to ensure project success.
In addition, it is crucial to ensure delivery on time, adherence to budget, compliance with specifications and quality standards. The scope of the project is typically formed by System Architects and/or System Engineers. Upon successful results you will facilitate transfer to our production facilities.

You will be part of the R&D Hardware Development team consisting of 20+ employees providing reliable hardware devices and PCB boards, integrated into systems and products all spanning from specification until final product.

The Hardware team specify, simulate, design and do schematic as well as PCB layout, testing and compliance verification e.g. within technologies of radar and supervision technology's. In the role as Technical Lead, you will focus on digital electronic like FPGA, ADC/DAC, µC, inter board communication and power supplies. Experience within these technologies is highly relevant.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

• “Hands-on” design and development of advanced hardware within analogue/digital circuits and power electronics
• Perform analysis, schematic design, support PCB layout, test and design documentation
• Secure that specifications, resources budget and deadlines are met as defined by scope of responsibility
• Actively contribute to work packages including time estimation, technical work plans, task definition and scheduling all done together with the team
• Proactively coordinate with Project Managers, Systems Engineers and Architects
• Align activities across the value chain, including production, Technical Support Services (TSS) and Supply Chain Management
• Support establishment of requirements and target product cost to meet project demands

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• Education on a master or bachelor level within Electronic Engineering, or a similar field of study
• Proficient in hardware development to manage analyses, design, implementation and test ability all on an applied and “hands-on” technical execution level
• Demonstrate Technical leadership skills and foster team spirit as well as cross-functional collaboration
