At Maersk Container Industry (MCI), we design and manufacture the world’s most energy-efficient refrigerated containers - and we are now looking for a Supply Planner to help ensure stable supply and high performance across our global supply chain.

MCI is located in Tinglev in the Southern part of Denmark, close to Sønderborg, Kolding, and Flensburg. We have strong local roots but act on a truly global stage. You will be part of a team where responsibility, trust, and development go hand in hand, and where your contribution makes a real difference to daily operations and long-term supply chain performance. You will report to the Part Supply Manager with work location in Tinglev.

As Supply Planner, you will be responsible for selected suppliers and work with forecasting, inventory management, and supplier coordination to ensure operational stability and continuous improvement. You will be part of the daily planning activities and work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize processes and improve data quality across the supply chain.

The role combines operational execution with analytical work, giving you the opportunity to develop within planning, optimization, and supplier management in a global setup.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage selected suppliers on an operational and strategic level
  
  

• Work with forecasting and demand planning based on historical data and trends
  
  

• Maintain optimal inventory levels through safety stock calculations and stock optimization
  
  

• Follow up on supplier performance, delivery issues, and quality deviations
  
  

• Create and manage purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries
  
  

• Support process optimization through daily operations and ERP/MRP systems
  
  

• Track and report relevant KPIs to ensure transparency and performance
  
  

You hold a background in Supply Chain/ Value Chain Management, or similar.

You have an interest in supply chain management and enjoy working with data, systems, and processes. You are comfortable working independently, while also collaborating closely with colleagues and suppliers to solve challenges and improve performance.

Furthermore, you

• have experience with supply chain management through education or work
  
  

• are confident working with Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP)
  
  

• have experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
  
  

• understand basic demand planning and inventory management concepts
  
  

• are comfortable working with master data and ERP systems
  
  

• are structured, self-driven, and analytical in your approach
  
  

• work well both independently and as part of a team
