We’re seeking a visionary Business Area Manager (BAM) for our Service Desk & End-User Support family — someone who can drive innovation, unify our support operations, and deliver outstanding employee experiences.

The Service Desk often serves as the face of [xxxxx]’s managed services — our goal is to make it intelligent, proactive, and closely aligned with customer outcomes.

As a Business Area Manager (BAM), you’ll have influence across borders and service areas. While you won’t directly manage a team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the direction, tooling, and overall service model.

Your contribution will help transform support from a traditional cost center into a strategic competitive advantage.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and harmonize our Service Desk / End-User Support offerings across the Nordics.

  • Define and execute a roadmap: transition to AI-assisted support, self-service, analytics, automation.

  • Partner with sales, architects, DEX & automation teams to build compelling support solutions.

  • Engage strategically with customers to translate feedback & needs into real service features.

  • Ensure compliance, SLAs, governance, and quality across all support deliveries.

What we expect

  • Deep experience in managing or evolving Service Desk / End-User Support operations.

  • Strong strategic & analytical mindset — able to work from data and define new models.

  • Capability to bridge technical and business domains, and to influence across multiple countries.

  • Familiar with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and modern support trends (AI, AIOps, DEX).

  • Good communicator in English + at least one Nordic language.
