Are you passionate about communication and are interested in thematic areas around learning, advocacy and community engagement? Would you like to be part of an international humanitarian and development organisation working for and with people facing adversity around the world? Learning Lab is the perfect place for you!
Learning Lab hosts the global Fabo learning community, which counts 30 member organisations around the world (read more on fabo.org). You will get a unique opportunity to assist and collaborate with other national and international humanitarian and development organisations. You will become part of an innovative and dynamic team of 10 colleagues who are excited about the creation and promotion of learning.

  • The role of Assistant to the ACT Advocacy Academy (AAA) – The AAA is a four-month blended learning training that runs from September to December. The main objective is to upskill staff of the ACT Alliance’s member organisations and partners in various advocacy topics and provide them with concrete advocacy tools. As our future intern, you will have a central role in the communication of this year’s cycle of the Academy, as well as supporting and participating in all lectures and providing participants with technical and practical help.   • Assist with planning and execution of Fabo and other learning webinars and events, which come in varying forms and are carried out digitally.
  • Follow up with webinar participants by sharing recordings, takeaways, or feedback forms.
  • Support with simple video editing for interviews, tutorials, or event recordings.
  • Support outreach efforts and coordinate with Fabo member organisations to gather stories, updates, testimonials, interviews.
  • Project assistance related to learning activities: Research, development, quality assurance, reporting, copy writing and learning administration.
  • Turning different types of content into guides and templates for the Fabo community.
  • Other administrative assignments and ad hoc tasks.
  • If you have any other relevant competences, we are very open to get those into play as well.

  • You are currently enrolled full-time in a relevant degree programme — such as Communications, Media Studies, International Relations, Education, or a similar field —and are developing the skills and knowledge needed to contribute effectively to our work.
  • You have a strong foundation in communication, with experience and passion in crafting compelling messages through both written content and visual storytelling.
  • You are confident writing and speaking in English at a high level (as it is our working language). Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
  • You are digitally savvy, comfortable working with visual and digital tools and platforms, and have an eye for design. Our work integrates technology and digital learning, so being at ease in a blended, tech-forward environment is important.

    Interviews with shortlisted candidates will be held in the following week starting May 12.
    Expected start date is early or mid-August. The internship is full time (37 hours a week) and will last about 5 months (to be agreed).

    To be eligible for the internship, it is essential that you are still enrolled as a student during the internship. You need to have a valid residence permit or the right to work in Denmark.

    The internship is unpaid, but lunch and a work laptop will be provided. You will also be guaranteed a lot of valuable experience.
