The Manufacturing Intelligence department is a full-service provider of Intelligence solutions within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries. We work with all aspects of data engineering/data science from Cloud services, consultancy services, design, implementation, test/validation, and data analytics, machine learning to AI. Our specialty is data connectivity solutions for pharma manufacturing, that enable data-driven decision-making.

Our team consist of data engineers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers. We work with design, development, and implementation of data platforms, data visualization and advanced analysis of manufacturing data; covering everything from backend development to front-end solutions for the end-user to interact with.
In the role as UX/UI Consultant, you will become a part of the project teams where your tasks involve identifying user needs, documenting user needs and prioritizing user needs for development. Your goal will be to act as a link between the end users and the developers helping translating user needs into actionable solutions that can be implemented.

How you might spend your days
As an UX/UI designer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
- Conducting user interviews, facilitating workshops with end users
- Documenting end user needs
- Drafting Mock-ups of applications, user interfaces, apps or similar
- Prototyping and creating on-screen interactions
- Defining key user flows, paths, and wireframes
- Working within a team of 50+ skilled data engineers and data scientists based between our offices in Virum and Kalundborg, but also engaging in customer teams alongside your colleagues
- Based in Virum, but travelling to our customers on a regular basis

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You hold a BSc. or MSc. degree in Design, Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar
- You have previous experience with from UX/UI Projects, Interaction Design, Product Design, or similar
- Good communication skills in English, written and orally.
- Good presentation and visualization skills (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and/or Zeplin)
In addition to the above, you might have experience or interest in exploring - Front-End Web Development:
· Front-end frameworks – we use Vue.js 3 and Vuetify, but also React or Angular are relevant
· HTML5 and CSS3
· Git & Azure DevOps - Interest in full stack development, including database connectivity and back-end developer tools such as Python and Node.js
