Premium Porc Group, one of the largest pig producers in Romania, is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Farm Manager to start-up and manage a full-line farm with 3,000 sows. The farm has been populated with DanBred genetics gilts. Recently we had the first farrows and things are looking amazing. You will lead a team of approx. 25 colleagues of different nationalities.
The team there is great and experienced and is ready to challenge the limits along side you!

We expect you to:
- Manage the production activities inside the farm to ensure achievement of production targets;
- Build the team inside the farm, coordinate and manage it;
- Lead, work closely and develop team-leaders for each department;
- Work closely with workers and train them on the job to ensure activities are performed properly and according to Standard Operating Procedures and internal policies;
- Work closely with the production manager to optimize overall farm activity and results;
- Responsible for the overall farm biosecurity program;
- Work closely with relevant departments from the company to ensure smooth activities;
Ideal candidate has/is:
- Relevant strong experience managing a sow farm with excellent production results;
- Experience in a leadership position managing teams of workers of different nationalities;
- Ability to communicate directly and with precision;
- Hands-on, hard-working individual, willing to lead by example his team;
- Very ambitious individual with strong desire to continuously improve and achieve high level production results;
- Structured and disciplined approach, focus on making sure production procedures and basics are followed;
- Know how to prioritize while managing multiple balls in the air;
- Fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Cloudfarms (other production system) and Microsoft Office package.
