You will work from the company’s office at Marineholmen in Bergen where 12 colleagues share a modern and inviting job environment. Free parking, canteen, and overall very good facilities.

The role of Logistics Support

biomega® is enlarging their logistics team. Your primary responsibility will be to secure that biomega® follow up on all expectations and agreements made to existing and potential customers with regards to outbound logistics. You will share this responsibility with a colleague that has been working in the company for many years.

Your tasks will include:

• All aspects related to arranging outbound orders and samples, including planning and booking of shipments, following up on customer orders, coordinating special orders with production, relevant documentation, applying for and creating all relevant shipping documents, and communicating with customers and internal departments.
• Be the customer's primary point of contact in all shipments-related aspects, including change orders, deviations, and customer complaints.
• Continuously update shipping plan based on orders received, customer requests and product availability.
• Communicate with production, warehouse and transportation companies for shipment coordination.
• Request offers from transportation companies and follow up on container availability, shipping times and capacity.
• Update and maintain shipping-related information in relevant systems.
• Initiate and support work to improve the logistics process and automate dataflow to/from external systems

The profile we are looking forward to welcome

We are seeking a very structured, organised, and precise team player. We assume that the right candidate for this position has the following background:

• Experience in a logistics role or related function as sales support or administrative function from a support role in an international B2B commercial environment.
• International experience: cultural awareness, adaptability, and confidence to operate across geographic regions.
• Educated from logistics, supply chain management or similar.
• Knowledge from the fish or food industry is an advantage.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Pragmatic problem-solver combined with strategic thinking.
• Cross Functional worker that align internal resources to meet customer needs.
• Professional spoken and written English.
• And last but not least, a person that can see himself/herself in many years to come.
