The role
We operate more than 300 successful franchise stores in 65 countries, and multiple local site editions of [xxxxx].com. To drive further brand growth we seek an ambitious talented Global Social Media Lead to grow and engage global social audiences.

As the Social Media Lead, you will be individually responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances our [xxxxx] brand identity and supports business KPIs.

You will oversee content creation, and manage all social media channels across all markets; to drive [xxxxx]’s reach, engagement, and win new traffic to site and stores. You will work in work in close cooperation with our Danish global brand team, and our national marketing teams in key markets all over the world.

This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with a deep understanding of premium lifestyle branding, strong creative instincts, and a proven track record of using data and insight to driving results in the digital space.

Main purpose of role
The Social Media Lead leads, creates, and manages [xxxxx]’s global Social Media channels.
This position plays a vital part in growing and nurturing [xxxxx]’s global social media presence and ensuring social continues to play a strong role within the marketing mix — ultimately supporting the overall ambition to ‘Win New Consumers’ and turn fans and followers into customers to drive business growth.

Responsible for

  • Defining and developing the role and strategy of [xxxxx]’s current and future social channels and content direction.
  • Driving data-informed editorial content planning and production across all social media platforms, while supporting regional and local channel management.
  • Lead monthly content strategy, creating clear creative briefs for design and content teams.
  • Managing and supporting the publishing support function, ensuring accurate scheduling of content across all key channels and alignment with global priorities.
  • Overseeing publication of 22-30+ posts per month across primary social platforms — Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook — ensuring brand consistency, creativity, and performance optimisation.
  • Guiding the B2B content strategy on LinkedIn — aligning content, creative, and strategy with the global B2B marketing team, and integrating it into the overall content plan.
  • Leading [xxxxx]’s influencer strategy globally, supporting markets in evaluating partnerships, ensuring strategic guidelines are followed, and assessing performance KPIs.
  • Conducting weekly and monthly data dives performance analyses and sharing actionable insights through KPI reporting — establishing a clear social tracking, measurement, and reporting framework aligned with business KPIs and Marketing Mix Modelling learnings.
  • Lead tests of new content types and formats to drive engagement and brand differentiation.
  • Monitor consumer trends, platform + competitor activity to inform ongoing optimisation.
  • Oversee [xxxxx] social channels and account structure to maximise performance
  • Curation of user-generated content (UGC) for cross-channel and campaign use.
  • Coordinating and managing deliverables with internal teams and external partners.

Skills and Profile

  • Strategic thinker with strong creative instincts and analytical mindset
  • Deep understanding of premium lifestyle branding and storytelling through social media.
  • Proven experience leading social content strategy across global markets.
  • Confident in reporting, analysing, and optimising social KPIs.
  • Proficient in GA4 and experienced in using Facelift and other social performance dashboards
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable managing cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in social media management, ideally in the luxury or premium sectors.
  • Proven experience developing / executing social media strategies for a global brand.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling content.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
