We are looking for determined and dedicated experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) or Expert Engineer/Machinist to ensure, that our customers receive the best-in-class mechanical consultancy for their projects, ranging from conceptual design to installation and commissioning.
It will be considered a positive, if you have knowledge of international networks, such as standardization organizations or committees. Your working days will be multifaced, but one thing is for sure: you will feel the unity, of our four mechanical departments of 75 skilled, and focused colleagues supporting you – and you'll have access, to more than 100 different educational backgrounds throughout the organization.
We are a digital builder, using our own tools in conjunction, with large plant systems to create early studies, design solutions, and specifications for our clients. We offer an exciting project environment, that allows you to continue growing with new ways of working, such as using Dalux (AR/XR) to inspect building sites, or P&I diagrams to follow fast-track projects, and ensure the right mechanical installations.
We do not expect you to know it all, as we ourselves need to develop, and be open-minded to constantly find the right solutions. How you might spend your days
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be:
- Developing a group of colleagues preparing engineering/technical project tasks
- Coordinate technical work
- Set out technical directions
- Technical trouble shooting
- Preparing design specifications and supporting the selection and procurement of process equipment
- Tendering and contract work
- Implementing projects in the construction phase by supervising contractors and suppliers
- Planning and controlling FAT/SAT activities
- Providing SME level support to complex process challenges and mechanical design within the GMP segment
- Dimensioning and specification of mechanical equipment e.g. heat exchangers, pumps etc
- Dimensioning and specification of pipes and components
- Specification and design of Tank and Vessels
- Supporting the development of our Mechanical Engineering System through standardization
- Developing and designing engineered solutions to complex problems through individual contribution and by leading teams of engineers

The miles you’ve walked

- You have at least ten years of experience working as a Lead with GMP design of tanks, pressure equipment, installations, and other related engineering projects
- You have worked as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), providing rationale for technical solutions
- You have GMP experience from the process, pharmaceutical, or life science industry
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering, machinist, or a similar technical field
