As a Senior Tax Manager, you will work closely with the group tax team and report to Peter Sunddal, Vice President Group Tax. In this role, you will be a key partner to finance and business stakeholders across the organization, working with complex international tax matters and supporting strategic initiatives across the group.
This is a great opportunity for a tax professional looking to transition into an in-house role where you can move beyond advisory and work directly with the business. You will gain ownership of key tax matters, collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic initiatives while seeing the tangible impact of your work across the organization.
Your key responsibilities:- Acting as a trusted advisor to business and finance stakeholders on [xxxxx]'s international projects, driving key tax assessments such as permanent establishments and withholding taxes, from initial assessment through implementation.
- Managing strategic initiatives and selected M&A or restructuring activities, including contributing to tax assessments used for executive decision‑making.
- Supporting the development of governance frameworks and ensuring effective implementation of [xxxxx]’s global tax policy.
- Monitoring developments in international tax legislation and assessing their implications for the group.
- Managing tax audits and maintaining constructive relationships with tax authorities.
- Collaborating closely with external advisors and colleagues across finance, legal, and business functions to ensure end-to-end processes, ensuring efficient and compliant handling of taxes and timely execution.

On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in finance, economics, tax law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate or international tax, ideally gained within a Big 4 firm or a multinational company.
- Solid technical knowledge of international tax principles and corporate taxation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business insights.
- Experience advising on and executing international tax projects.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient English skills in oral and written communication.
