About the Associate role:

We are seeking a full-time Associate to join our office in central Copenhagen. As a key person in the investment team, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential investments, taking part in the investment process, and actively building your own network of founders, business angels, and other venture investors. This is a unique way to kick-start your career in venture capital!

What you’ll do:

• Source and screen potential investment opportunities in various sectors – predominantly across the Nordics.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, competitive landscape assessment, product deep dives, expert and customer calls, etc.
• Help prepare investment memos/recommendations and present findings to the investment team.
• Build and maintain your own network of founders, business angels, and other venture investors.
• Perform industry, technology, and market deep dives incl. desktop research, quantitative analyses, expert interviews, and more.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives, operational challenges, and fundraising efforts.
• Representing Seed Capital at startup events/conferences and supporting the development of own events and activities.
• Drive and support internal development projects.

Who we are looking for:

You have a unique ability to connect with people. Your peers admire your curiosity, sharp insights, and strong analytical skills. But what truly sets you apart is your rare mix of high emotional intelligence, drive, and analytical thinking, which allows you to build strong relationships and leave a lasting impression.

• 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, and/or direct experience from venture-backed tech startup
• Strong academic track record: A bachelor’s and master’s degree required, preferably STEM or business/finance degrees
• Strong analytical capabilities and you can demonstrate complex communication skills
• Demonstrates high emotional intelligence (EQ). You find it natural to connect, understand, and interact with many different personality types on deeper levels
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for startups and technology combined with a natural curiosity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and preferably also a Scandinavian language)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/analyses simultaneously
• You are humble but have a relentless drive and sky-high ambitions
• You enjoy working in a fun, dynamic, and collaborative environment
