Student Assistant in M&A and Asset Financing

The Team

As our new Student, you will join our M&A and Asset Financing team at our Headquarters in Søborg, Copenhagen. The team currently has 28 committed colleagues and one Student Assistant, and we are responsible for managing our project and asset financing and divestments.

We are involved in financial modelling, investor management, and negotiations with banks regarding construction and project financing, as well as lead all projects, portfolio divestments, and partnerships - managing transactions from origination all the way to closing. We try to develop and maintain long-term relationships and promote competitive processes. The department is part of the newly established CCO organization with a holistic and strategic focus on [xxxxx]’s sales activities.

How you will create impact

As a Student Assistant, you will play a key role in different task:

  • Become an integrated part of a dedicated “deal team” created to each M&A transaction and function as support to the entire group
  • Development and maintenance of financial DCF models
  • Prepare investor and lender material (teaser, IM)
  • Coordinate the preparation of Virtual Data Room
  • Support in preparing financial investment decision meeting material
  • Ad hoc tasks

What we look for

We are looking for a student currently in first year of their Master program within Finance or similar. To thrive in the role we imagine you have the following competencies:

  • You have full professional proficiency in English, oral and written
  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have a commercial mindset, general interest in corporate finance and excel modelling
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are analytical and have a structured approach to your tasks
  • A curious mindset with a large appetite to constantly learn and grow.
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to create results.
  • Have a positive and can-do attitude when faced with new challenges.
