Your new role

As our new Tax Specialist, you will be an integral part of an expanding 8-person Finance Team, supporting Polish companies and project teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with local authorities, managing tax, coordinating with external tax advisors, and driving process improvements. You will also lead local reporting initiatives and optimize financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely tax return preparation and filing, staying up to date with tax laws and regulations together with accounting and controlling department
• Tax Planning: Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies for individuals or businesses
• Tax Audit Support: Assisting with tax audits and resolving any issues that arise.
• Tax Accounting: Managing and analysing financial data related to tax liabilities and reporting.
• Specialised Tax Areas: RET, WHT

To succeed in the role, we imagine you have

• A degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Tax (RET, WHT, VAT, CIT, Excise Tax)
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see both the big picture and dive into the details
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Navision Dynamics/Business Central, ERP systems, and HFM/OneStream is a plus
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Polish
