This role supports the development of collection architecture, financial planning, and sell-out forecasting, while contributing to Range Framework initiatives and ensuring seamless collaboration with global and local merchandising teams. You’ll also play a key role in the cross-functional product development process, bringing strategic insight into assortment strategy, architecture, and collection financials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help build the bottom-up assortment architecture and support financial planning to meet top-down targets — making sure our collections are both exciting and commercially sound.
- Deliver sell-out forecasts at key milestones to guide financial targets, S&OP, and allocation planning.
- Manage the product lifecycle — from creation to phase-out — to ensure our assortment stays fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate closely with global and local merchandising teams to support local execution and unlock commercial opportunities.
- Support adherence to collection article counts and financial frameworks — keeping everything aligned and on track.
- Drive execution of Range Framework initiatives, and own tools that empower local merchandising teams with inventory and allocation insights.
- Prepare key merchandising inputs for the New Product Development (NPD) process, including modeling for annual planning and product milestones.
- Partner with Design and GBU teams to shape impactful new assortments — using performance data to guide decisions and maximize commercial value.
- Dive into weekly, monthly, and quarterly trade results, conduct deep-dive analyses and post-mortems, and connect insights to future risks, opportunities, and product strategies.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field — or equivalent experience that shows you’ve got the skills.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Product Merchandising, Demand Planning, Buying, or Allocation — you know how to turn insights into action.
- A background in retail or fashion — you get the rhythm of the industry and what makes customers tick.
- Strong analytical skills — you’re great at spotting market trends, understanding customer behavior, and using performance data to guide decisions.
- A sharp eye for detail — especially when it comes to data accuracy and performance analysis.
- The ability to simplify complex insights and communicate them clearly to different stakeholders — whether it’s in a meeting or a report.
- Solid stakeholder management and negotiation skills — you’re comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally some experience with Buying & Forecasting software or PLM tools.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
