What is the Job About?
As a Senior Cloud Backend Developer, you’ll be at the heart of our IoT Core Cloud platform, designing and delivering robust microservices powering high-throughput, transactional systems for connected devices. Working in a true DevSecOps culture, you’ll help architect and build secure, scalable cloud solutions using cutting-edge technologies in Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure our platform is reliable, secure, and ready for the future.
Your Main Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain microservices using industry best practices for security and performance.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines—preferably with Azure DevOps—for seamless and reliable deployments.
Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure with Azure-native services for maximum scalability and uptime.
Collaborate on service architecture, embracing DevSecOps principles throughout the development lifecycle.
Monitor and troubleshoot high-throughput applications to ensure peak performance and availability.
Run, monitor, and scale containerized services in Kubernetes, leveraging observability tools like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
Design and implement messaging and storage solutions for transactional systems.

Your Background

Strong experience in secure coding and microservice architecture—you know how to build systems that last, right from day one.
Expertise in distributed systems and event streaming (Azure Service Bus/EventHub, Apache Kafka).
Proficiency with Azure services such as Storage Account, Redis Cache, KeyVault, PostgreSQL, and AppConfiguration.
Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, structured logging, and modern monitoring tools.
Skilled in C#, REST APIs, gRPC, and Git (especially Azure DevOps).
Comfortable with TDD and DDD methodologies, and a proven track record building high-throughput, transactional cloud applications.
Bonus points for: experience with Kafka for real-time streaming, familiarity with observability platforms like DataDog, and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
