What's it like being a Operation Manager at Scandic Go?

Are you ready to rock as an Operation Manager? You have a key role in making sure the hotel rooms and common areas are clean and comfy for the guests. You work as the right hand to the Hospitality Manager and follow Scandic's values, leadership compass, policies, and Code of Conduct.

You manage daily tasks for especially Housekeeping but are also a support to our Host Leads within guest service and F&B. You make sure we follow Scandic's cleaning concept and keep track and improve the main goals (KPIs) for Housekeeping.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who understands the importance of and drives collaboration across the hotel. If you're all about teamwork and making things happen, you might just be the one!

You are interested in developing and have an easy time finding solutions and making friends along the way. You are a leader who want to be present, you see the importance of giving regular feedback, are communicative in your leadership style and see the whole team. To join our crew, you've experience leading others in a similar role as well as relevant education and experience in the service industry. You have good administrative ability, experience of financial planning and follow-up as well as good practice of working in different system support. You also need to have good skills in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

You'll work on different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.

About the position
As a Operation manager, you have a lot of responsibilities. You need to make sure our staff is happy, productive and give awesome service while our workplace is clean and safe. Here are some of the things you do:

• You create and adjust the work schedules and assign tasks to your team members.
• You welcome new hires and train them according to the latest guidelines.
• You order the supplies you need and check the deliveries when they arrive.
• You take care of your employees' growth and development and help them with any issues they may have.
• You follow the safety procedures and make sure your team does the same.
