Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy

As Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy at ALK you will play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise-wide priorities, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting initiatives that fuel long-term growth and innovation. You will join a team that partners closely with senior leaders across the organisation to define, execute, and refine ALK’s strategic agenda.

The position
In this role, you will support the development and execution of ALK’s corporate strategy through structured, collaborative, and analytically grounded work. Your key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring disciplined execution of our defined strategic initiatives through standardised PMO methodologies and effective stakeholder management.
  
• Owning project management governance, including tracking progress, ensuring transparency, and preparing decision-ready materials by gathering, validating, and synthesizing cross-functional inputs.
• Supporting the scoping and assessment of new strategic initiatives, including resource requirements, cross-functional implications, and feasibility considerations.
  
• Support Project Leads on strategic initiatives and drive selected workstreams.
• Securing Corporate Strategy’s high-quality and timely delivery on the annual strategy cycle – incl. the annual Board of Directors Strategy Seminar and strategic follow-up meetings.
• Preparing clear, concise, and well-organized materials for cross-functional committees, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors.

Your profile
You bring a strong analytical foundation, a structured mindset, and the interpersonal skills required to influence at senior levels. The ideal candidate brings:

• A relevant academic background (e.g., MSc in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field).
• 2-4 years of professional experience from management consulting, an in-house strategy team, PMO, or an equivalent strategic role.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and presentation capabilities, with the ability to draw clear insights from complex information.
• Confidence and ease when interacting with senior stakeholders, including C-suites executives.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse functions.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment where high-quality output and strong execution are essential.

ALK Corporate Strategy Team
You will join a dynamic team of five strategy professionals with a mixed background spanning from consulting, pharma industry experience to M&A – dedicated to shaping ALK’s future direction. The department’s core mandate includes spearheading high-impact strategic projects incl. formulating the five-year corporate strategy (Allergy+) and driving key strategic projects exemplified by recent partnership deals. Furthermore, we collaborate closely with the entire organisation – including Commercial, BD, R&D, Finance, Product Supply, P&O – across all levels and markets.
