What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

• Create, design and review architectural collateral, documenting the scope of features related to Operating System, Device Firmware and Device Driver domains. Prototype potential solutions to assess feasibility.

  
  

• Gather business requirements and drive product definition and prioritization for the related features. Influence both hardware and software directions for capability that extend beyond the OS layer.

  
  

• Generate Intellectual Property to safeguard innovations.

  
  

• Balance short-term actions with long-term strategy, aligning tactical needs with the architectural road map to support the broader strategic vision.

  
  

• Evaluate and optimize program trade-offs—including cost, performance, quality, and schedule—while making informed feature decisions across driver, firmware, electrical, power, and thermal requirements.

Essential Requirements

• 15+ years of software development experience

  
  

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  
  

• Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly

  
  

• Familiar with Operating System on x86 and ARM/SoC architect and driver requirement

  
  

• Strong development/programming experience in Python/Ansible/ Kubernetes or different programming languages

  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field

  
  

• Experience with Software Life Cycle and Software Product Management, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence).

  
  

• Familiar with OS deployment and Manufacturing Windows Engineering Guide
