The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Leader & System Engineer to create customer value through technical leadership and commercial development.

At [xxxxx]/CREA[xxxxx], you will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen. You will design end-to-end system architectures, identify new customer opportunities, and translate complex technical needs into sustainable, value-creating projects. Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will hold significant commercial and technical responsibility and play a key role in our growth.

You will take a lead role on major customer projects and drive project economics, client success, and technical direction. You will support business development through innovative system solutions by identifying new technical solution areas with customers and developing a healthy pipeline. You will lead highly specialised teams and act as a strategic advisor at executive/C-level. In addition, you will provide technical leadership of our digital team, including mentoring, professional development, and capacity planning.

The work spans multiple industries including manufacturing, life science, defense, wind, and others, with no requirement for deep industry-specific experience.

Your Responsibilities

As System Engineer & Technical Lead, you will design end-to-end system architectures (edge/embedded to cloud) on complex customer projects. You will lead the modernization of legacy platforms from proprietary monoliths to modular, scalable architectures and provide technical leadership of integration projects, IoT solutions, and data systems. You will ensure security, performance, and scalability in system design, and hold end-to-end responsibility for technical quality, value delivery, and compliance across the solution.

You will act as a technical advisor and mentor to customer leadership on transformation opportunities and architecture choices. You will identify and develop solution concepts addressing critical customer challenges and implement data and traceability solutions that drive digital coherence and data-driven decision-making.

As Business Leader & Commercial Driver, you will identify new technical opportunities and customer segments and build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through systematic opportunity management. You will develop business cases by translating technical needs into commercial solutions and manage strategic customer relationships at senior stakeholder level.

You will also lead and secure high-quality project delivery through resource allocation, risk management, and technical mentoring. Your focus will be to deliver strong results across both technical quality and business outcomes, maintain customer satisfaction, and create long-term customer value.

Finally, you will contribute to organisational development through leadership and development of a highly specialised digital team, strategic competence building, and planning, prioritisation, and capacity planning across customer projects.

Your Profile

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software, embedded, or cloud solutions, including several years in an architecture or leadership role
  • Documented experience with modernization of larger systems, monoliths, and technical debt
  • Experience with technical leadership, project management, or people management

Competencies

  • Strong understanding of modern system architecture, cloud (Azure/AWS), integration, and system design
  • Ability to communicate technical complexity to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen, with understanding of business cases, customer economics, and value delivery
  • Strong leadership mindset with focus on team development and psychological safety
  • Fluent English and Danish
