Electrical Harness Technician – Hands-on Specialist for Spacecraft Wiring Are you a practical problem solver with a knack for precision assembly and quality craftsmanship?
As our new Electrical Harness Technician, you will be the skilled hands behind the vital electrical wiring harnesses that make our satellites work reliably in space.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with wires, crimps, and connectors—ensuring every component is perfectly selected, assembled, and tested to meet strict aerospace standards. You’ll work side-by-side with engineers and assembly teams, turning complex designs into real, flight-ready hardware.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be at the heart of the harness build process, combining your practical skills with a good understanding of the technical and mechanical needs of space-grade harnesses. Your work ensures the harnesses are strong, flexible, and fully compliant with quality standards.
You’ll handle everything from choosing the right wires and crimps to checking bend radii and connector durability. You’ll apply your experience with IPC-A-620 Class 3 workmanship standards to make sure every crimp and connection is flawless. Working closely with systems engineers and the Assembly, Integration & Verification (AIV) team, you’ll help bring satellites from drawings to reality.
As a valuable supplement to your technical role, you will also assist the AIV team during satellite assembly, integration, and testing phases—helping to ensure smooth and efficient satellite builds.

Formal education is not a must, but relevant backgrounds could include - Electronics Technician, Mechanical or Aerospace Technician. Hands-on experience and a practical mindset are what counts.

- Select, assemble, and inspect wires, crimps, and connectors for satellite harnesses
- Ensure harnesses meet mechanical and electrical requirements, including cable strength and bend radius
- Apply and maintain high workmanship standards according to IPC-A-620 Class 3
- Work closely with systems engineers to follow pin-to-pin layouts and specifications
- Support the AIV team with assembly, integration, and testing activities
What We Are Looking For

- Understand space-grade materials such as PTFE-insulated wires and approved connectors
- Enjoy working closely with a team and communicating clearly
- Be detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
