Do you want to play a central role in ensuring a robust procurement setup for a manufacturing site with both marketed and clinical production? Then you might be our new procurement professional.
About the department
You will be part of Injectable Finished Products, Bagsværd (IFP BA), which is an aseptic filling factory with approx. 800 employees producing marketed insulin and obesity products for patients around the world. Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement is anchored in business support. The team manages all operational planning, finance and procurement partnering at the site.
We are responsible for maintaining and developing the sites’ procurement process. You will get to work with many stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. We work closely with Sourcing Operations (SoOp) on marketed/established products. For clinical products we work closely with process support and manufacturing development to identify new vendors and establish contracts for new process aids and other materials needed to establish new manufacturing processes.
You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 10 colleagues with different experience levels. We have an informal working environment, where we work together and support each other, but most important we have fun and value a good sense of humour.

Some of our more operational tasks such as creation of purchase orders are handled by colleagues in India, and you will therefore collaborate with them, and guide them if they have questions in relation to POs. Furthermore, we are expanding this collaboration to also include PO follow up and you will take part in implementing this process.
You will proactively contribute to optimisation activities while ensuring compliance with NN procurement guidelines and rules. We focus on further digitalizing our processes and develop dashboards to increase the accessibility and ease of use for departments across site, and we hope that you will support us in this journey.

About the Position
The responsibility can be split in the following categories:
Procurement:
- Act as Local Sourcing Responsible, guiding Line of Business (LoB) in this matter and leading procurement projects when new products/services are introduced in the production (Procurement for Manufacturing/PfM).
- Facilitate frame agreement orders and forecasts to meet daily demand of consumables.
- Mitigate supply shortage escalations in cooperation with production planners, category mangers, sourcing specialists and management
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and goods receipts
- Ensure timely handling of vendor complaints
Contract management:
- Maintain an overview of all IFP BA external services and locally signed contracts/agreements.
- Ensure timely handling of contracts
- Process project work orders and internal consultancy agreements
Supplier management:
- Create supplier registrations in Coupa
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial business relations with vendors

Qualifications
- M.Sc. Business and Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar
- Bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience or equivalent knowledge through relevant practical experience
- Experience within GMP pharmaceutical production processes and business is desirable
- Experience with ERP Systems incl. SAP ECC
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills
- You have confidence and ability to set directions in developing business cases
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
