Then, this is your chance as we are looking for a dedicated Business development partner to the Director of Logistics & Distribution (L&D). The position
As Business Development Partner, you will get the opportunity to be part of the management team in Logistics & Distribution. You will work in close collaboration with the management team and define and lead strategic processes and initiatives.The job will give you a solid knowledge of the Supply chain and the Novo Nordisk organisation as it requires a strong focus on stakeholder management across functions and organisational levels.Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Strategic partner to L&D management Act as a knowledge leader and be the go-to person, representing L&D management in stakeholder meetings locally and across our global network. Conduct scenario analysis, develop business cases, and make recommendations to facilitate strategic decision-making within L&D, in collaboration with the line of business and management team Facilitate and drive critical tasks across the organisation on an operational, tactical and strategic level in collaboration with relevant senior stakeholders within and outside of the area.
You will independently drive several initiatives simultaneously and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, which requires that you have a good overview and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
QualificationsA relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of supply chain and strategy/business development or in a similar function Experience in driving strategic projects and advising senior leadership A well-developed toolbox for working with and effectively communicating business cases and strategic analyses and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation Strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a holistic problem-solving approach On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organisational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organisation around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English. We expect you to have a great interest in Supply Chain and financial processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes.
About the departmentLogistics&Distribution (L&D) is a central function in the Supply Chain organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional Supply Chain systems and processes. We are app. 50 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 15 in Bangalore (India) .The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the financial impact. Furthermore, we have the responsibility for storage of GxP products, covering both in- and outbound distribution.While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.Contact
