About the Role
We create high-quality software solutions, which focuses particularly on our mainframe application, developed in Natural and is the core of our operations. This helps our colleagues who support Tryg's customers by providing reliable and efficient services.
You will be a part of our department consisting of developers, business analysts and quality assurance testers who work with the Product Owner in our four agile teams. In our department we work with the development and management of offers and policies for Tryg and our partners. Other stakeholders are product developers, actuaries, lawyers and partner managers.
We are now looking for a QA Specialist that can help us ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
We imagine your core tasks will be:
• Test Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and execute them manually and/or by using automated testing tools.
• Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Communication and Collaboration:
Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the development team.
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
Part of the team works from offshore, while others from the office in Ballerup, so much of the work is done virtually. Communication is in English, but the ability to communicate effectively in one or more Scandinavian languages is highly beneficial.
About You
We are open to different backgrounds, but we expect that you bring in-depth knowledge of software testing, strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills. An ISTQB foundation certification is beneficial but not a requirement.
You should be proficient in tools and methodologies such as Leapwork or other Selenium based automated testing tools, risk-based testing, Failure & Test Modeling and Behavior Driven Development.
