As a Vendor and License Manager, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating and managing contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met. You will be responsible for managing vendors and associated licenses and keep all our governance running smoothly. You will lead efforts in license compliance, participating in audits and maintaining adherence to licensing agreements and regulations. Collaboration will be central to your role, working closely with Global IT teams, Legal, and Procurement to align processes. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for key Global IT stakeholders, providing insights and updates on vendor performance, expenditure, and compliance matters. This role promises a blend of strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.

As a Vendor and License Manager, you will:
- Be part of ’s Global IT, working within IT Service Delivery who operates the global infrastructure setup.
- Engage with colleagues, IT vendors and with a variety of stakeholders within Global IT.
- Immerse yourself in the exciting and ever-changing world of IT vendor contracts and software license agreements.
- Specialize further in vendor management and software asset management, continuously optimizing contract usage to secure full value during the contract term.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Governance Setup: Establish and maintain governance frameworks with suppliers for effective and efficient delivery.
- License Overview: Maintain a comprehensive overview of all licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor and license management processes.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- New Services RFS: Manage requests for new services (RFS) from vendors, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Vendor Overview: Maintain an overview of prioritized vendors, including performance metrics and financials.
- Financial Management: Track and manage the financial aspects of vendors and licenses, including budgeting and cost optimization.
- License Audits: Conduct external audits to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and licensing.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding vendor and licensing matters, including presentations and reporting.
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience.
- Ability to analyze vast amount of license data and interpret financial data.
- Proven experience in vendor management, contract management, and licensing.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Understanding of governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in vendor management software and tools.
