Your Role
As an administrative employee in HR, you will become part of a strong and close-knit team responsible for the daily operations of our HR support function. Your primary tasks will include handling inquiries from employees and managers, ensuring accurate administration of HR tasks, and contributing to optimizing and structuring our processes. As a back-office support function, you will play a central role in supporting the organization's operations and be an essential part of daily task execution throughout opening hours.
At Semco Maritime, safety is a core value, and in this role, you will help maintain and promote a strong safety culture while delivering effective HR solutions.
The position is a fixed-term contract that expires on 31.12.2025. The ideal candidate could be someone taking a gap year.
Your workplace will be at our global headquarters in Esbjerg, the heart of the Danish energy sector, offering a fantastic view of the water. This is a full-time permanent position, but temporary until December 31, 2025.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
As an administrative employee in HR, you will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
- Preparing contracts and employee registrations
- Handling organizational changes in our HR system
- Responding to inquiries about parental leave, vacation, and employment conditions
- Developing and adjusting processes in our new HR system
- Various HR administrative tasks
Your Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for a structured and service-minded administrative employee who thrives in an administrative role and has a keen eye for detail. You take responsibility for your tasks and take pride in ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- Experience from an administrative position – experience in HR is an advantage but not a requirement
- Knowledge of HR systems and an interest in working with systems in depth (experience with Catalyst One and/or IFS is a plus)
- A structured approach to tasks and the ability to prioritize in a busy workday
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle various inquiries and deadlines
- An interest in developing and optimizing processes in our HR system
- Are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
