International Trainee Program - Service Engineer

As an International Trainee Program participant, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start. The exceptional people you work with, the challenging projects you tackle, and the regional scale of our business, will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in our Service-Electrification division. The program, with a permanent position, is made up of three assignments in different roles all in Service division - starting from the month of September/October 2023: • One six-month assignment in the position as an introduction to the service electrification business in our new domicile in Middelfart. • One six-month assignment with different activities where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function (also in Middelfart). • One six-month assignment abroad, to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
Your responsibilities
- You will have the opportunity to broaden your background within the Service engineering team.
- Focus area Is Distributed automation / Digitalization / Relay protection etc.
- Discover your interests and different roles in our Service function, through challenging and impactful assignments, from design to execution.
- You will have activities related to continuous improvements in the way in which the different work methods are planned and carried out (with a focus on internal and external customers).
- Profit from individually targeted possibilities for training and development.
- Actively contribute to diverse social events and team activities and use the chance to establish a broad (global) network within ABB.
Your background
- You are a recent graduate (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical engineering or related field.
- God knowledge of English and fluency in Danish.
- Digital capabilities.
- Ability to work cross functional.
- You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing.
- You think global and like working in teams.
- You are curious, resilient and open to new ideas.
