The Position
As an Assembly Process Specialist, you will act as Process Owner, focused on a specific device, being responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing assembly processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Your main responsibilities will be:Lead design for assembly activities, collaborating closely with the engineering team to integrate assembly considerations into the design phase, ensuring efficient and cost-effective product assembly Lead the design and implementation of new assembly lines (both low and high volume) within the global network for a specific device, ensuring the equipment is designed and build in compliance with internal and external requirements Serve as the technical leader in a team of process engineers Analyze and optimize existing assembly processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering or similar 7+ years of experience with production equipment in the pharmaceutical industry and strong knowledge of GMP Experience with technical project management within assembly process development and optimization in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment Proficient in the use of digital engineering tools. As a person you are proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team. You thrive in a changing environment and have excellent problem-solving skills. Furthermore, you have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
