As Manager for Packaging Validation, you will lead and inspire a team of approximately 19 validation engineers and specialists. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning the team’s efforts with our strategic goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
Furthermore, you will:
  • Act as a strategic people leader, enabling your team to deliver on standardisation goals and CAPEX project milestones.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, inclusiveness, and continuous development by aligning team capabilities with organisational values.
  • Champion standardisation of the validation process within manufacturing across global operations.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments and stakeholders.
  • Set a clear vision and direction for the team, optimising resource use and driving accountability.
  • You will report directly to the Director of Packaging Engineering and play a key role in shaping the department’s strategic direction and validation roadmap.
    Global travel is expected to be approximately 10–15 days per year.
    You will be part of a leadership team together with 3 other managers and an admin assistant.Qualifications
    We are looking for a leader who:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Has proven experience in people management, ideally within a regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, aerospace).
  • Demonstrates a strong track record in leading change and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Brings experience or interest within Science- and risk based validation (preferred but not essential).
  • Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are a confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You thrive on complexity, inspire trust, and empower your team to achieve ambitious goals.

    You will join FPMSAT and the Packaging Engineering department—an essential bridge between Packaging R&D and production. We are responsible for developing and implementing global manufacturing capacity for both new and existing products.
