As Sustainability Consultant you will take an active part in integrating sustainability into our business processes across the globe. You will be in daily contact with a broad range of stakeholders and experience how sustainability plays an integrated part of reaching our strategic ambitions to the benefit of both patients, the environment and society in general.
The Sustainability team is responsible for developing ALK’s strategies, policies and targets within the sustainability area, and for embedding sustainability at all levels of the organisation. The team furthermore supports and coordinates the implementation and daily management of the sustainability strategy as well as secures consistent, transparent and accurate reporting. Fields of responsibility
The Sustainability team is responsible for developing ALK’s strategies, policies and targets within the sustainability area, and for embedding sustainability at all levels of the organisation. The team furthermore supports and coordinates the implementation and daily management of the sustainability strategy as well as secures consistent, transparent and accurate reporting. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring consistent and accurate reporting
- Identifying and monitoring risks
- Reporting progress to external rating agencies
- Monitoring trends and legal requirements
- Advising internal stakeholders on sustainability matters
- Communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders
Your qualifications
We are looking for a person with great collaboration skills, who can support a broad range of activities within the field of sustainability. Prior experience and knowledge about environmental and social elements is a must. The preferred candidate has the following skills:
- A solid academic background where sustainability is reflected
- Min. 2 years of full-time working experience within climate and environment and/or human rights due diligence e.g., from a consultancy firm or a sustainability team in a private company
- Self-motivated, engaged and independent
- Strong analytic mindset
- Experience with Sustainalytics, CDP, MSCI, ISS ESG, Eco Vadis or other ratings
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing
