To support this, we are strengthening our approach to incident management by working methodically, using a shared language and best practices to prevent accidents before they happen – while also exploring AI-driven initiatives to help us predict, prevent, and analyse safety scenarios even more effectively.
As part of our Site HSE & Permit Management team, you will join a group of passionate professionals dedicated to improving health, safety, and the environment at our sites – and to eliminating unsafe work practices. In this role, you will play a key part in leading and facilitating root cause investigations following incidents, injuries, and high potential near misses on construction projects. You will conduct thorough site-based data collection, interviews, and analysis to determine root causes, and you will deliver clear, actionable investigation reports with corrective and preventive actions.
To succeed in this role, you bring strong competencies in evaluating problems, investigating complex issues, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. We are looking for a supportive and collaborative colleague, who can coach and motivate others to embed safety learnings and ongoing improvements across our dynamic matrix organisation.

As a Site HSE incident expert, you’ll be:
- Facilitate root cause investigations following incidents, injuries, and high potential near misses on construction sites.
- Conduct site-based data collection, interviews, and analysis to determine root causes.
- Support site teams in implementing and verifying the effectiveness of safety improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant local and national HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments when required and necessary.
- Provide coaching and training to field persol on safety best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and lessons learned programs.

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
- Minimum 4-6 years of HSE experience using your ability to analyze complex problems and present clear, actionable solutions (typically within the construction industry).
- Hold a formal education or certification within root cause analysis (typically TapRooT, Top-Set, TriPod Beta or the like)
- Recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30/510, or equivalent).
- Solid knowledge of construction safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with digital HSE platforms or incident management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
- Danish language skills are considered an asset in supporting compliance with Danish regulations.
