If yes, the position as a Student Assistant in the Technology Partner Opportunity Development team might be just what you’ve been looking for!
When working within the Opportunity Development team in the Technology Partner Area, we expect you to support the team in co-creating opportunities with partners and to build new capabilities for the area. You will be part of a work scope dealing with uncertainty and play a central role in managing and driving forward new initiatives and projects. You will have the ability to grow your stakeholder management skills and learn how to drive business with a customer-first approach.

About the Team
In Milestone, our Technology Partners are one of the most valued community players, with whom we are collaborating day in and out. For that, in the Opportunity Development team, we co-create new business opportunities with selected 3rd party technology partners. Focusing on creating win-win business cases for Milestone and the partner. We are working in cross-functional teams with both internal and external stakeholders covering areas such as research, product management, software development, partner management, and sales.
To reach our ambitious goals in the Opportunity Development team and to continuously improve our ways of working, we need bright talents with a customer-centric, creative, and positive mindset. Now is your chance to help shape, develop, bring insights and knowledge for our efforts within the Technology Partner Area.

The role
Working in a dynamic environment will allow you to strengthen your organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. You will facilitate planning, reporting and oversight of (new) initiatives, with responsibilities revolving around:

  • Bringing in new perspectives to excel in the field of business development and project management. This will further allow you to improve your communication and presentation skills.
  • Market and competitor research and analysis
  • Driving innovation initiatives and support in technology partner management
  • Supporting the team with various ad hoc tasks
  • As part of the team, you will acquire teamwork skills, learn to work under pressure, acquire time management and prioritization skills, as well as push your initiatives forward and motivate others. You will further have a chance to experiment with tools and systems to provide support for your teammates. In addition, you will have the ability to strengthen both your business acumen and technical proficiency.


Are you the right candidate (Requirements)?
We expect you to be self-driven and be able to handle responsibility in a fast-paced industry. It is crucial that you can thrive both when working by yourself and in teams.
We would prefer a candidate on the first year of a masters or alternatively last year of a bachelor in a business-related studies programme.

  • Business accumen
  • Curious and proactive with good communication skills
  • Interest in gaining technical proficiency within the role
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, plus the ability to visualize data and insights.
  • High level PowerPoint skills – structure, story, lay-out.

Flexible schedule in accordance with your studies. We expect you to work between 15-20 hours a week. As this is a student position you will be paid on an hourly basis. The office is based in our Headquarters in Brøndby, Denmark.
