About the position:The UX & UI Lead is responsible for the functional management of the UX and UI design team, overseeing the quality, standards, and strategic direction of digital user experience and interface design across the company, but with the main responsibility of the Global IT domains (like eCommerce, Corporate site and aftersales platform).As a functional lead, this role is focused on delivering high design standards, improving processes, and guiding the digital UX and UI strategy in alignment with the company’s goals. Part of the role will be active UX delivery to strategic initiatives. The UX & UI Lead is accountable for prioritizing tasks, setting the quality bar, and ensuring the consistency of UX and UI practices without direct people management responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring high UX/UI standards across all digital products by evolving and standardizing user-centered design principles, guidelines, and frameworks. Conducting regular design reviews with both design and development teams, providing feedback to ensure work meets business, user, and quality expectations. Shaping and leading the UX/UI vision and strategy to align with organizational objectives and digital transformation goals. Staying current on industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Co-own and evolve the design roadmap for UX/UI improvements across products in collaboration with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders. Optimizing design processes and methodologies to enhance team productivity and streamline collaboration with development, product management, and cross-functional partners. Promoting agile design methodologies to facilitate swift iteration and ongoing enhancement. Serving as the functional leader for project scoping and task prioritization, balancing business priorities with team capacity. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders to align design work with user and business needs while ensuring deadlines are met. Participating in early-stage ideation, user journey mapping, and wireframing, concentrating on critical areas where strategic alignment is essential. Lead by combining direct design involvement with guiding the team, facilitating workshops, stakeholder sessions, and collaborative design activities. Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing impactful digital products and user-centered designs. Experienced in defining and implementing UX/UI strategies, including design principles, frameworks, and standards. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and familiarity with design systems, responsive design. Effective project management skills to coordinate design activities, guarantee on-time completion, and uphold quality across all UX/UI deliverables. Extensive experience in agile methodologies, working with tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage work and documentation. Proficient collaboration and communication skills, capable of navigating a complex stakeholder environment in a corporate setting.
