Your role in our team

As Manufacturing Engineer in our Electronics Manufacturing (EMF), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Through Hole Technology (THT) and box-build assembly department – including minor mechanical assemblies. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives on supporting processes and ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement.

You will be joining our department of 17 colleagues, where there is plenty of room for sparring and knowledge-sharing. EMF Lystrup delivers solutions for mission-critical applications. Moreover, we have extensive expertise in manufacturing advanced electronic and harness for several types of aircrafts.

Our production is characterized by complex products in low volumes and high quality. Our customers have high demands on quality, precision, and thorough documentation, which requires a colleague who strives for "Best in Class".

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibility will include:

  • Supporting operators with technical guidance
  • Maintaining and optimizing process equipment
  • Creating time estimates and production routings
  • Preparing clear work instructions
  • Managing deviations and verifying processes
  • Troubleshooting and solving production-related challenges with a proactive mindset.
  • Collaborating with developers and reviewing documentation
  • Creating and updating process instructions

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in Danish and English both in writing and verbal at a professional level.

  • You have solid technical foundation and a passion for supporting production processes
  • You have completed training as an Electronics Mechanic, Technician, or similar, preferably with a focus on production
  • Experience from a similar role within a production company and expertise in manufacturing engineering is an advantage
  • You are skilled at documenting your and others' work
  • Certification or knowledge of IPC 610 standards is highly desirable

Additional skills that would be beneficial:

  • Ability to train and mentor operators, ensuring consistent skill development across the team
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and preventive action planning (e.g., FMEA)
  • Experience with process optimization using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

You approach tasks systematically and stay well-organized, even when juggling multiple assignments.
